Student Council Elections

The elections are happening tomorrow Friday, October 4!
The people that are running are… from the Dragons, only Leo V. is running. From the Vipers Michael, Aku and Sabine are running. From the UEFO’s Lilly, Jackson, Toby and Maddy and finally, from MS “It’s a mystery” Max K. and Tristan.
The student council helps prepare and plan certain events for example pumpkin roll and silent disco. They are the voice of their classes. They meet on Tuesdays during elective time. There will be two representatives selected and each student will get two votes. Who is your vote! * news accurate as of time of posting.

Outcry for President Trump’s Impeachment

Allegations have come out about President Trump pressuring the President of Ukraine to open a “corruption” investigation aimed at Vice President and Presidential candidate Joe Biden. President Trump has responded to these allegations calling saying this:”They never even saw the transcript of the call. A total Witch Hunt!” and this: “PRESIDENTIAL HARASSMENT!”. So far 173 are for the impeachment, 79 are not for or undecided, and 183 have not responded. This impeachment case may last up to the election but work is getting done.

MLB National League Wild Card Game (10/1)
The playoffs have recently started by the National League wild card game. For the national league, the Brewers and Nationals played each other. The pitcher for the Nationals was Max Scherzer and for the Brewers it was Brandon Woodruff. The Brewers scored early and maintained a 3-0 lead until Nationals shortstop Trea Turner hit a home run to left field. The ball landed in the Nationals bullpen to make the score 3-1. After the 5th inning, the Nationals put their number 2 starter Stephen Strasburg on the mound. It was Strasburg’s first bullpen appearance apart from the All Star Game. The score remained 3-1 until the 8th inning when the Brewers dominant closer Josh Hader. The rally started off with the Nationals 3rd baseman Anthony Rendon being hit by a pitch. Eventually, it was bases loaded for the Nationals best player Juan Soto. He got a base hit to right field, Trent Grisham tried to get the ball but it went under his glove. The hit blew the Brewers lead and the Nationals eventually won the game 4-3. Nationals pitcher Daniel Hudson closed out the game and got the save and Max Scherzer got the win.
Mike Yastremzki’s time in Boston with hall of famer grandpa Carl Yastremzki (9/25)
The San Francisco Giants played at Fenway Park against the Boston Red Sox this week and what a time Mike had. On Tuesday, Mike hit a home run into straight away center field and the Giants won 7-6. On Wednesday the Giants creamed the Red Sox 11-3 and Mike Yastremzki helped. He got 1 hit, which was an RBI single out 4 at bats. At the beginning of the game, Carl did the first pitch to his grandson Mike. On both days, the Red Sox fans cheered for Mike Yastremzki. It is a story to be remembered in Giants and Red Sox history
Football Injuries
There were some QB injuries of week two of the NFL football. The people who got injured were Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisbeger, Tom Brady and Cam Newton. Drew Brees has a thumb injury by Arron Darnold hitting his thumb and he is going to be in surgery for 6-8 weeks. Ben Roethlisberger has an injured elbow and is not going to be playing for the whole rest of the season. Tom Brady has a calf injury and is questionable to play next game against the Jets. Cam Newton has a foot injury and had to cancel practice and the Panthers don’t know when he will come back to play.
Soccer
Tottenham played Crystal Palace on 9/14/19. The Tottenham line up was Son and Kane on Forward, Lamela, Eriksen, Winks and Sissoko Midfielder, Rose, Vertonghen, Alderweireld and Aurier Defence and the last LLoris (captain) Goalkeeper, for substitutes are Gazzaniga, Wanyama, Deir, Dele, Lucas, Ndombele and Davies. For Crystal palace Ayew Forward Zaha, Schlupp, Milivojevic (Capten), Kouyate and Townsend Midfielder, Van Aanholt, Sakho, cahill and Ward Defender, and the last Guaita Goalkeeper, Substitutes Hennessey, Tomkins, Meyer, Benteke, Mccarthy, Camarasa and Riedewald. The game starts with Tottenham with the ball first. On Tottenham Winks shoots and misses. The Tottenham Hotspurs coach sits comfortably with some water. On the Tottenham Son tries to shoot and the goalkeeper on Crystal palace blocks. But Winks tries to help but he hits the goalkeepers head. A foul made by Sissoko but no yellow card. Son gets the ball dribbles down the field Son shoots and he scores, The are loud with a celebration for Tottenham, and lot’s of aisan because of Son. Tottenham tries to pass to Son again but the goalkeeper stops it. Crystal palace tries to get a goal but Tottenham blocks it. Tottenham comes in Aurier gets the ball he shoots scores another point for Tottenham 2-0. Tottenham comes in again Son shoots he scores another point for Tottenham 3-0. Again Tottenham comes in and shoots and scores 4-0. Then Crystal palace comes in zaha shoots and Lloris blocks it. Crystal palace starts and Tottenham rushes in winks steels it Son gets the ball he passes it back to winks he shoots, Guaita blocks it, no goal. Crystal palace comes in strong Rose tries to steal the ball but foul but again no yellow card. Crystal palace Milivojevic with the free kick Crystal Palace tries to shoot on the kick his teammates tries to shoot by their heads Tottenham tries to block it works Son gets the ball he tries to get to have a chance to shoot a again but Crystal Palace steals the ball rushes, but Lloris catch is it before the shot. Son comes in with the shot but it is out. Crystal palace comes in for the last shot Zaha and misses, and the game ends 4-0 Tottenham with the win.
Basketball Reports
It’s currently the NBA offseason and a big signing happened. Kevin Durant is leaving the Warriors and signed with the Brooklyn Nets for 4 years and 164 million total. The Warriors offered a 5 year deal and 221 million total but Durant rejected the offer. Durant is a 10 time all star and just completed his 12th NBA season. Kevin Durant will likely miss the 2019-20 season after rupturing his Achilles’ tendon in the finals. It’s never good to be a free agent while injured but both the Warriors and Nets offered him a deal anyway and Durant made his decision. I’m sure people are wondering why Durant turned down the better financial deal but he could have signed due to being close to family or he just liked the city better but who knows. The Brooklyn Nets finished 42-40 in 6th place in the Eastern Conference last year. Some people may predict the Nets are going to be the future Eastern superpower by 2020. All I can say is Durant will help if that it Brooklyn’s goal. Do you predict in 2 years, the finals is Warriors vs Nets?

Timeline
He was born in june 5th 1996 so that means he is 23. He was born in canada close to DDS. at the time he was the youngest in the family. His parents spoke russain and english. When denis was 3 he moved to nashville tennessee. When he was 4 he went to kindergarten and he made friends with this kid but he never talked and everyone thinks there was something wrong with him then he didn’t talk until he met denis at the sand box and then he became best friends with the kid.
He was really creative through kindergarten and grade one he made a bunch of comic books and shared it to the whole class every week. Then the teacher made a box for Denis’ comic book then the kids became too cool to read his books so he stopped making them?. Then he became pretty bad kid. There was this milk stand where you had to buy tickets with real money so denis made fake tickets for his friends then this kid told on denis that was the time his brother found out computer games his dad had this really old windows computer and his brother played online mini games denis remembers that he woke up at 4 in the morning to sneak and play on the computer but watched his brother played.
He went to a private high school. He didn’t want to go because he would lose all his friends but his mom and dad forced him to step out of his comfort zone. On july 23 2011 he made his first youtube video. And he got 20 views on his minecraft lets play. And he got comments so that means he has followers and at that point he made a youtube video every day of the year. He played some lets play videos with his friend but a few months later it seemed like he was putting all his heart and soul into his video so he stopped because he lost interest that was also around the time his parents divorced. Because his dream of being a youtuber was over he went back to making video games. But then his video he made on aug.20.2015 it got hundreds of thousands of views. And everybody was asking him to make more videos so he made more and after that he made videos every day.
