In general, we’re not awesome at doing nothing. Today we decided to try something new, doing basically nothing like most of the visitors to the island of bees.

We had another casual breakfast, the café next-door now knows we’re going to take the coffee cups away and bring them back an hour later. Tom had found the best bakery in town and we enjoyed a lazy breakfast on the balcony. Meanwhile, Sue did a handful of loads of laundry made more exciting by the fact that the washing machine wasn’t completely level and when it got to the spin cycle it’s turned it’s self into a bouncing, gyrating mass.

Around 1pm we made the 20 minute walk to our nearest rocky, pebbly beach and plopped her self down in one of the shady spots. Everyone enjoyed some time in the refreshing but salty Adriatic. Later in the afternoon, Tom and Tyler decided to go do some drone flights and got some amazing footage across the water towards Vis. Unfortunately, the end of the flight was a little disastrous has Tom tried to grab the drone and when it jerked away it gave his thumb a pretty nasty cut.

As the sun was beginning to make its way towards the mountains we walked back to our hotel and the kids decided to do the dinner from the night before once again. We were happy to oblige and sit on our deck and enjoy one more classic sunset.

A full day of not going much farther than we could see from our balcony. Kramers relaxing is not a common site but a welcome one.
