SUBJ: Malayisa = Orange County

Howdy Folks!  I hope all is well with you.
Things are pretty good over here in Kuala Lumpur.  Let me give you a little run down of whats going on.

The Flight:
The flight was pretty legit.  I am a huge fan of China Airlines.
Each seat has an LCD screen and it runs this interactive program that allows you to watch TV shows
(like Iron Chef), movies (Blades of Glory, Hot Fuzz), listen to music (Kenny Rogers - the gambler!),
and play video games (like galaxa).
The food was pretty good too, way better than any American shit.

KL Airport:
The KL airport is AMAZING.  It has all marble floors and is made of shiny steel.
There is a huge arboreatum in the middle of the airport, real impressive.
All sorts of expensive shops too like Louis Vitton and Rolex.
Arvin's friend sent a driver to pick us up from the airport.
I had no idea what kind of car this guy had, found out it was brand new 4Runner.

Life in KL:
Ok, so Kuala Lumpur is totally like Orange County. Arvin's friend owns a restaurant in a mall here in KL.
The mall is SUPER  BLING. Its as nice as Victoria Gardens and like 3 times the size.  Everyone  here speaks English.
Its like we traveled for 18 hours straight and landed  in Irvine.

Food:
This is the best part of KL.  People in Malaysia are basically composed of Thai, Chinese, Indians (slurpee, not casino)
and actual Malays. So when you go out an eat, its either Chinese or Indian or some mix of both.
The first night here Arvin's friend took us to eat some authentic Indian food.
We didnt eat on plates, instead they took huge banana leafs and put the food off that.
It was pretty good stuff.  We ate chicken, and vegetables with chili.
Yesterday we ate Indian food again where we had tandoori chicken and garlic flat bread (naan).
We also ate Chinese food last night for dinner. It was pretty crazy, the put a hot pot of water and veggies
in the center of the table.  There was regular soup and spicy soup. Then they came with all sorts of raw meats
and you just throw it all in the pot and let it cook, then you eat the soup.
It was a little awkward getting used to it, but it was really good.
I think I ate too much spicy soup yesterday because I had the poops mcstinks today.
I feel ok, just a little getting used to the food.  Gonna lay off the spicy stuff for a minute, but its soo good.
